ABOUT RENT READY REPORTS
Built around the information people actually need.
Rent Ready Reports was created to make the information captured during a property inspection more useful — for Property Managers, owners, tenants and the trades who may ultimately need to act on it.
WHY RENT READY REPORTS
The inspection is only the beginning.
Rent Ready Reports grew from practical experience working around residential properties and seeing what happens after maintenance is identified. A Property Manager may need to explain the issue to an owner. A tenant may be asked for more information or photographs. A trade may receive a short description and then need to ask questions before they can properly understand what they are attending. The idea behind Rent Ready Reports is simple: capture useful property information properly at the inspection, then organise that information so it can support the people involved in whatever happens next.
BUILT FROM PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
Understanding both sides of the maintenance conversation.
Before developing Rent Ready Reports, the founder worked directly in residential property maintenance, dealing with maintenance requests across managed properties. That experience highlighted how valuable clear information can be before attending a property — knowing where the issue is, seeing useful photographs and understanding what has actually been observed. Rent Ready Reports brings that practical perspective into the inspection and reporting process, while leaving specialist assessment, final scope and pricing to the appropriate trade or qualified professional.
“Capture the information once, then make it useful to the people who need it.”
OUR APPROACH
Inspect. Identify. Plan.
INSPECT
Record visible property condition using a structured, non-invasive inspection process, clear observations and relevant photographs.
IDENTIFY
Separate normal condition from preventive maintenance and items requiring action so the next steps are easier to understand.
PLAN
Organise maintenance information into practical reports, suggested timeframes and forward-looking preventive maintenance planning.
WORKING ALONGSIDE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
A supporting service — not another system trying to take over.
Rent Ready Reports is designed to work alongside Property Managers, their preferred trades and their existing property management processes. The Property Manager remains at the centre of the process — deciding what information is shared, which maintenance items progress and which contractors are engaged.
Clearer information
Structured observations and photographs provide useful context.
Appropriate reporting
Different audiences receive information relevant to them.
Existing relationships remain
Agencies continue using their preferred trades and existing property management processes.
CLEAR PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES
Practical property information with clear limits.
Rent Ready Reports provides a non-licensed visual property assessment of accessible areas. The service does not provide structural, electrical, plumbing, gas, pest, engineering, building certification or other specialist inspections. Where an obvious visible concern may involve a specialist system, the report can recommend further assessment or repair by the appropriate licensed trade or qualified professional.
Rent Ready Reports records and organises visible property information. Specialist diagnosis, final scope and trade pricing remain with the appropriately qualified professional or contractor.
LOOKING AHEAD
Building a better property record, inspection by inspection.
The long-term direction for Rent Ready Reports is to help Property Managers and owners build a clearer picture of each property’s condition and maintenance history over time — connecting today’s inspection with tomorrow’s maintenance planning.
